One flew the nest….

Last weekend we took Matthew to Warwick to start his time at university.  We spent the weekend there, getting most of the registration and paperwork completed on the Saturday and then returned on Sunday morning to finish the last bits and pieces.  Apart from blowing the fuse for the whole floor of his halls of residence when he plugged his computer in, the move in went well.

Since then we have had positive communications from him.  It sounds as if both the social and the academic sides of university life are going well.  I am looking forward to hearing more once he has had a chance to get used to university life.

My work is still too busy to be fun or rewarding.  My boss resigned / got fired this week so things will change.  Who knows if it will be for the better or worse….

Anyway, there are more important things than my work; like the kids continuing development and growth – makes me so proud.
