June 2008

The start of summer at last…. The evenings are long and the garden and surrounding countryside is in full bloom. Last weekend we took Harry to the South of England Agricultural Show at Ardingley.

Judging a chicken

It is amazing how people spend their lives specialising in rabbits, pigs or chickens; like this guy who is a poultry expert….

It was a mighty fine looking chicken I must admit – I hope it won.

Apart from this excursion not much has been going on – we are still in exam mode as Matt and Simon study.

It has been a busy week at work and I move into my new expanded role on Monday – should be fine but a team of 20….that is serious stuff.

We have just booked up our trip to Madrid in October – out 10th anniversary of moving out there. Hopefully lots of our old friends will be there too for our reunion.

Today is father’s day – and I have managed to eat well; starting with a cooked breakfast and continuing with bangers & mash. I will have to get to the gym this week.
